Welcome to Brighton Breastfeed Drop-in

Brighton Breastfeed Drop-In has been providing mother-to-mother support for breastfeeding women since 1995. It is a user-led charity, run by volunteers who are all experienced breastfeeding mothers and wish to pass on their help, knowledge and experience to others wishing to breastfeed. We are open nearly every week of the year, providing skilled mother-to-mother support and access to information about all aspects of breastfeeding.

We aim to provide information, support and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers, whether they want to breastfeed for 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years.

The Drop-In is open to everyone who is breastfeeding, thinking of breastfeeding or supporting a breastfeeding mother. If you:

• are pregnant
• have a new baby and are struggling with your new way of life.
• want to meet other breastfeeding mothers with babies the same age as yours.
• are having difficulty with breastfeeding
• have questions about anything to do with breastfeeding – expressing, colic, night- time feeds, baby’s weight, starting solids, breastfeeding alongside giving solid foods, going back to work, conflicting advice.
• want to support your breastfeeding partner, wife, grand-daughter, friend…..

come and join us. You are very welcome.

We also have:

• a library of books and other resources on infant feeding for loan
• tea, coffee and snacks for older babies and toddlers
• a play-leader and toys for babies, toddlers and older siblings
